
Robert Scott was a right-hand batsman and right-arm fast medium bowler who played 66 matches between 1931 and 1934.
He scored 1,478 runs at an average of 19.45 including two centuries and took 90 wickets at 23.86 runs each including 5 wickets in an innings three times. He won a blue at Oxford University in 1931 and in 1932 he took over the captaincy of Sussex, when Duleepsinhji’s health failed and led Sussex to runners-up in 1932 and 1933.
