Bill Bouton spent one season with the Albion, 1903-04, the club’s first in Division One of the Southern League. The 21-year-old full back was described as ‘an admirable player, equally clever with head and feet”, but his appearances were limited because of the consistency of both Duncan Cameron and Jock Caldwell.
Bill had played for Aberdare before his arrival at the Goldstone and returned to minor football on his release in May 1904.
Bill played 6 matches for the Seagulls in 1903-04.
