Love reading these. Sometimes a little gem that makes you smile comes up. Or, in this one, what is the reason for two colours for the lines mens’ flags. In the teams’ line ups it gives the red and yellow recognition as to which colour to which linesman. Did they have superiority levels in those days? I’ll be looking this up tomorrow. Cheers.
