Alan Saunders was a right-hand batsman and occasional bowler who played 12 matches in 1922 and 1923.
He scored 186 runs average 11.63 and took two wickets. He captained the Club and Ground side (2nd XI) for many years and was instrumental in the development of a number of young players.
