
“Curly” Roberts was a right-hand batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler who played 157 matches between 1911 and 1925.
He scored 2,302 runs including one century at an average of 13.31 and took 342 wickets at 24.17 runs each including 5 wickets in an innings 18 times and 10 wickets in a match twice.
His only century was 124 not out against Worcestershire at Hove in 1920 when he shared a partnership of 209 for the 8th wicket with G.A. Stannard in only 95 minutes.
