Percy Fender was a hard hitting right-hand batsman and right-arm leg-break bowler who played 52 matches from 1910 to 1913.

He scored 1,813 runs including 2 centuries at an average of 22.95 and took 50 wickets at 31.72 runs each. He was better known as a Surrey player for whom he played following his Sussex career. However, he always maintained his links with Brighton Brunswick for whom he is reputed to have played his first Club match.

He played 13 Test Matches for England from 1920 to 1929.
