Peter O’Sullivan

Peter O’Sullivan, a nineteen year old midfield player joined Brighton from Manchester United in April 1970.

Peter was to be a vital part of the team over the next ten years, always probing and creating chances for his forwards. A Welsh schoolboy, international, Peter also gained under-23 and full international caps for his outstanding club performances.

His appearances for the Seagulls totalled 488, a record second only to Tug Wilson’s in the twenties and thirties. Towards the end of his career Peter moved to Fulham, Charlton, Reading and Aldershot as well as playing in California and Hong Kong.
