Wally Little

Southall born wing half Wally Little made his Brighton & Hove Albion debut in their inaugural Football League match at Southend United in August 1920 and was a regular performer during their first 9 seasons in the Football League, when Brighton were consistently one of the better teams in Division 3 (South), scoring 36 goals, of which 27 were netted from the penalty spot, in 309 appearances before he joined Clapton Orient in the summer of 1929. In 1925-26 he twice scored two penalties in a match, against Crystal Palace and Bristol Rovers, both at The Goldstone Ground. His final season at Clapton Orient saw him make 25 appearances in 1929-30 before retirement.
