William Clackett was a stoker on board HM Trawler “Frost Axe” The trawler was struck by the Greek steamship “Epiros” in the English channel on 29th April 1919 and sank with the loss of some crew including William Clackett.
William is remembered on the Chatham Naval Memorial.
